Now that our career portfolios are complete, we are moving on to our second of three major projects this semester.  The Business Portfolio project will have you creating a fake business to practice developing a series of professional

documents.  This week, you will determine your business type, name, and mission statement.

For your initial post, provide a brief overview of your business, a tentative name, and a mission statement.  Every major business and brand has a mission statement, so you might want to Google the missions of some of your favorite

brands to get a good idea of how to best write one.

As I stated in my introduction post, I love spending time outdoors and one of my favorite recreational activities is fly fishing. For those who don’t fish, just using traditional fishing gear can be quite expensive. However, fly fishing gear is
