ASSIGNMENT
We all have witnessed how election/political advertising often utilizes both mobile and social advertising tactics.
To complete this assignment, share an example of how digital media was utilized for various messaging and advertising during the days leading up to the 2021 Election or any other time you have seen (or can find) examples of political advertising using digital media tactics.
PROMPTS TO CONSIDER
Look at how candidates are using/have used texting , social media , and viral videos to their advantage to reach voters in 2021. How effective are they compared to offline strategies, like door-to-door campaigning, phones calls, or television ads, and why?
You may choose to examine the risks that come with digital messaging, like the spread of disinformation , interference , and “dark ads .”
