Guidelines for the Nobel Project for the International Economics Course 1. Google “Nobel economics” and click on first result. Chose an economic laureate, which is different from other students. 2. Read press release, presentation speech, autobiography, prize lecture, banquet speech and any other thing you can find. 3. Go to “EconLit” from the library website, search under the author name and see what you get. 4. Look at the author index in your textbooks and find your Nobel laureate. Read everything the books tell you about her or him. 5. Look at The Economist, Wall Street Journal, New York Times for articles written about and by your Nobel Laureate. 6. Relate the work by the Laureate you chose to the topics of the course. 7. Make sure to cite all your sources carefully on EACH slide and add at the end a Reference List. 8. Exhausted from all of these reading generate 25 slides.

In the remote possibility, if we will have a TA paid by the Department of Economics and Business exclusively as a TA for this course, then this project will constitute ten percent (10%) of your grade. Otherwise, the weight of this project is zero percent. Nevertheless, you are expected to do a good job, or REQUIRED to fix your presentation to my sole satisfaction. Be prepared to present your work on or after the deadline. Failing to present your PowerPoint presentation when asked will cause your grade to be F, for the whole course.
