The Digital Sphere Case Study Responses
I want my thesis statement to be polished, and then Respond to two of my classmates’ theses. (I will attach my draft so you can work on the thesis.)
1) my thesis statement and my professor comment on it:
(This research aims to explore attitudes towards protecting data privacy and personal information in the digital sphere and how this can be accomplished by individuals who belong to the working class as both their personal lives and work involve the use of online platforms.)
(His comment: The opener: “This research aims . . .”–avoid that self-aware approach. It’s akin to driving up to a stoplight, getting out of your car, pointing at it while saying “when the light turns green, I’m going to press the accelerator and move forward.” You see what I mean? No need to say what you’ll do; instead, simply do it.
So–dig into the “why,” the controlling idea (same thing). Why is your work going to explore what you said it is?)
2) Respond to two of my classmates’ theses. (Get in there, and dig–don’t just tell one another how lovely and good you are. Get real, and tell each other the kinds of information you’d like to hear about your own work; be a safety net for each other.) I will attach my draft so you can work on the thesis. (Please response to these two)
Thesis: The position of running back, although underrated and underpaid is the toughest and most vital position in the game of football.
