Two leaders emerge on the island. Ralph, one of these leaders, holds council meetings and lays out rules for speaking during the meetings and for getting needed tasks done.
Jack, the other leader, becomes a hunter and gradually persuades other boys to join him and follow his instructions.
These two boys have different ways of leading and different goals.

In an extended response, compare and contrast Ralph’s way of leading and Jack’s way of leading. Then, consider how the novel ends. What might the author, William Golding,
be suggesting about the most effective way to lead others? In other words, what does the novel have to say about the subject of leadership?
As you answer, use a five-paragraph structure. Introduce the work and your thesis in the first paragraph. Then deal with Ralph’s leadership in the second paragraph and with
Jack’s leadership in the third paragraph. In your fourth paragraph, explain the theme about leadership you see in the novel. Finally, conclude your essay with a brief paragraph in which you make your thesis statement clear once again. Throughout your response, use details from the novel to support your ideas.
CMN 1100 Individual Communication Paper
Instruction: Describe an occasion when an individual communication experience affected your sense of the following: organizational identification, work performance, trust, communication, and job satisfaction. Describe these components in the organization, how and why these aspects were impacted by the individual. This journal should be 1 page double-spaced, 12-point font.
I have written a small part of it. I need your help to explain it in more detail so that the paper can be 1 page long. Here is what I write:
“Being reprimanded in public or in front of our colleagues is so damaging that it can lead to loss of morale and motivation and can even adversely affect our work performance. It is essential for managers to know where and when to reprimand workers. Professionalism and values dictate that reprimanding people must be done in private. Humans, as we are, have emotions and feelings that must be considered when reprimanding for errors or mistakes committed in the workplace. Reprimanding workers for mistakes committed is not an issue because it is the managers’ job to correct mistakes and reprimand if necessary. The problem lies in how the managers communicate or reprimand the person.”
