Quality of Life Self Care Wheel
Quality of Life Self Care Wheel
The first aspect is that of health. I gave myself a six because I am not particularly healthy. I don’t always eat better or workout daily, but I’m excellent at not eating or drinking various things. My objective is to start exercising out at least five days a week and to limit my alcohol consumption to two days per week (Bray et al., 2017). This will increase my self-esteem while also assisting me in reaching my goal weight, which I believe is desirable.
Rest and recreation are the following dimensions. I gave myself a seven since I am good at balancing work, play, and having fun. On weekdays, I sleep for eight hours, but during the weekends, I only sleep for like five hours a night, so when Monday arrives, I’m trying to catch up on my rest. I’m aiming to limit my late-night outings to one per week rather than three to address this.
I tend to fall short in terms of personal growth and relationships. I gave myself a four in this aspect because I don’t think I have the most optimistic people around me, and they often try to bring me down and make me feel bad about myself. So my objective is to take the time to figure out who is pulling me down in life and why, and after I figure out who it is, I need to either talk to them about how they are impacting me or remove them from my life.
Finances are not a significant issue in my life, but they are not the least of my concerns. I have a fantastic monetary support system if I ever need money or assistance, but I never need it, so it’s lovely to know they’re there. My objective is to open a savings account and contribute as little as $100 per pay week.
My environment is an essential thing in my life; I am highly conscious of recycling and maintaining the ecosystem as healthy as possible. I didn’t award myself a 10 in this aspect because I’m not the most conscientious about utilizing natural things. I intend to take the time to learn about the natural products that are available and to use them as needed.
My profession and education are not particularly strong points in my life. I have a job, but I want to make more money and be a better leader. On the other hand, I have a horrible habit of ignoring academics in favor of having more fun (Nicklin et al., 2019). Therefore, I will have the time I need for my sessions by ensuring I complete at least one task for each of my classes, whether it’s a paper or reading.
The final level is passion, and I scored myself a four since I am terrible at enjoying life. This Quality of Life wheel has made me realize how miserable I am in life and that I need to make some changes in life and the things around me. So I’m going to create objectives for myself and work my way toward them as gradually as I need to.
