Does patient education on falls upon admission and frequent rounding during hospitalization (I), compared to conventional nursing care (C), lower the likelihood of patient falls (O) within four months for hospitalized patients (P)?

And this is the instructors response: this is a nice ongoing revision, lets refine it a bit more… in terms of the intervention… please narrow it down to 1.. just 1 clear, concise intervention… for your comparison… convention nursing care is very broad… you can redefine this once you decide on your one intervention.. if your 1 intervention is frequent rounding… that is already a known best standard of care. it is already expected that frequent rounding occurs for all patients. Therefore, this may not be best for your suggested intervention. additionally, you cannot withhold a known best practice so you could not say compared to ” no rounding..” does that make sense>? so basically, you need to revise or refine the one single intervention. for the outcome, how would you measure “likelihood of falls”? how would you objectively measure this? you may want to reconsider your verbiage to reduction in fall rates… measuring the “likelihood” is hard to be objective.
