Language Strategies to Enhance Communication Discussion

I’m working on a communications discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

In particular, address, how does the chosen speaker’s use different language strategies enhance their communication effectiveness? (see Concepts – Verbal/Vocal Elements but also Chapter 3 in Unit 3) Provide a link to one of their speeches and point to particular moments in the speech that demonstrate their effectiveness. Then, you should reflect on how you can adapt any of the speaker’s strengths for your own presentation? If you are having trouble coming up with a speaker, go to American Rhetoric which lists and provides the Top 100 speeches of the 20th Century, provides speech manuscripts (and some videos) of important speeches of the 21st Century, and give you access to many more speeches that you might use.
