1. Explain the major hazards and contaminants associated with Dry Cleaners.
2. Review the State Coalition for Remediation of Drycleaners initiative and briefly describe the accomplishments of this project:

Reply:

Dry cleaners send the water that is contaminated from toxic materials into water ways, such as ponds, lakes, etc. The toxic material causes many health problems for humans. There are many hazardous solvents that are in the water that come from dry cleaning facilities that cause issues to human health and the environment.

The accomplishments of the state coalition for the remediation of drycleaners are significant. They are working towards improving the cleanup process of drycleaner sites. Over the years, the negative effects from dry cleaning facilities have been improved due to the efforts of the SCRD.
