Postmodern “turn” in rhetoric is marked by the “deep” thoughts of many thinkers. Please choose from Foucault, Derrida, Lyotard, DeCerteau, Deleuze, and use them to answer this question:

1) Consider how your nascent theory of rhetoric might be use(ful) in filling in for POWER in the private/public spheres of everyday life. 2) Are language and power intimately connected? 3) is such power the product of the ways in which we talk? 4) What might rhetoric have to do with this ‘turn’ in the history and theory of rhetoric?
