Goal: The goal of this paper is to explore an ethical issue that impacts current nursing practice, and to examine and critique how nurses can address the ethical issue to promote social justice.

Details:
The paper will use APA 7th edition formatting and have a maximum length of six pages not including references and title page. Should the paper be longer than six APA formatted pages, the additional pages will not be graded as part of the assignment. Refer to the grading scheme below for allocated marks. Although each section has allotted grades to emphasize the importance of each section, your overall grade will be out of 40%.
You are required to use three paper reviewed journal articles from the ethics literature. Articles, textbook or CNO/CNA documents that were part of the syllabus do not count towards the three required peer reviewed journal articles. You are required to find one media source (for example Global & Mail, National, MacLean’s) to demonstrate public awareness of the issue.
The paper will be submitted through SafeAssign. Please use the Library resources on APA to ensure paper is free of errors. If the paper contains APA errors, grades will be deducted. The deductions are -1 mark for 2 or less errors, -2 marks for 5 or less errors and -3 marks for 8 or more errors.
Topics:
Identify a topic from the list of essay topics posted on blackboard that you wish to study in greater detail than what was offered in the class (Alternative topics may be assigned by the professor). This is an opportunity for you to develop depth, breadth and expert nursing knowledge in one ethics related topic from this course. The paper may be written in the first person.
