I have assigned the Disney company as the case for all of you to do. The case analysis is due January 25th, 2023. Please follow the approach below for the case. History: when and by who was Disney founded? What were the initial successes of the company (movies and cartoons) How did it go from a small company to the multimillion-dollar company is it today? Current status: how has the company recovered since the pandemic? Which parts of the business are doing well and which parts are suffering (Disney+ is doing well but the retail store locations are suffering. Remember there was a Disney store in queens center mall on the way to the food court? It closed down. You can use that as an example) Mission and vision: you will find this directly on the company website if you google it. Put it into your own words and explain how Disney incorporated that into Disney world, Disney+, and their cartoons and movies. SWOT Analysis: what is Disney good at? What are they bad at? What is something they should be focusing on to generate revenue? What is something that threatens the company? HR: what kind of people does Disney hire? On what basis do people get promoted or paid? How do they treat their employees? How does Disney market its brand? What business strategy does it use to operate? Recommendations: based on your financial analysis and SWOT analysis, what sector is Disney generating most of its revenue in? (Could be Disney world, disney+, stores, etc). How should it focus its resources and competencies on that sector
