Cultural conflict because of globalization
Using your field of study and considering your future workplace (posible Public relations), describe an example of cultural conflict that has or could occur because of globalization. For example, if you are studying human resources, how would a company with international offices face challenges due to different cultural values?
For the assignment, you will describe the potential conflict; it may be one that you find in a news story or academic article. It may be a scenario you experienced or one you envision could happen in your professional field. Next, analyze the causes of the conflict and consider three ways that globalization could lead to conflict in your future workplace.
Consider the Hofstede theory of cultural dimensions as you write your causal evaluation, along with the various cultural differences and sources of cultural conflict discussed in the Units 3 and 4 readings.
You will need to reference and cite concepts from a source from sources below about cultural conflict and cite at least one additional credible source related to your field of study. The essay should be no less than 3 pages in length (not counting the title and references page) and follow APA guidelines for formatting and citations. Paragraphs should be well-developed and edited for clarity and correctness.
