This project entails creating a power point report that you would hypothetically present to a live audience. The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your competence using excel to create charts and to use PowerPoint to create and design a professional business report.
Scenario and requirements:
Assume you are working for apple and your supervisor has asked you to create a PowerPoint report to summarize some key financial and sales data for a presentation to an internal audience of other apple managers. You need to create charts and graphs to quickly summarize the company’s overall financial performance as well as the performance of individual product groups.
You must also analyze and make recommendation(s) to the company’s sales team based on the data you present. Use the attached excel spreadsheet with select apple financial data to create at least 2 of the following charts and graphs. The charts/graphs must be included in your power point.
You must use the attached spreadsheet to present and analyze two of the following data points in your PowerPoint. You only need to choose two of the following options:
Required project components:
1) a title slide with student name, company name, and date. (Each slide must also have a title.)
2) a separate slide for two of the graphs/charts listed above. One graph/chart per slide only!
3) a textbox on each slide with one or two sentences (“take away message”) that concisely discusses/analyzes the significance of the data on each slide. For example: what does the data that you are representing on each slide illustrate about apple’s overall or individual product sales trends? The text must explain the data on each slide. Do not just present data (charts/graphs) without analysis.
4) a final slide with overall recommendation(s) for the company based on the data presented.
