Cameron and Green (2020) and our class lecture taught us how we undergo personal change and the psychological process. But how do we make sense of that? Please reflect on your personal experiences. Please reflect on the following: What are some of the transformative (critical) events that happened in your life? What was so difficult or challenging that gave you that special meaning? What went wrong or what could be improved? What changes did you have to make to become the person (leader) you are today? Or given what you know now, how would you manage this change differently today? Link your life’s critical events to the individual change section of this course. Please reflect on the following: Your emotions, the Kubler-Ross Model. The different approaches to change. The different behavioural approaches to change. The cognitive approaches to change. The psychodynamic approaches to change. The humanistic psychology approach to change. Learning and the process of change. Conscious and unconscious competence and incompetence. Kolb’s learning cycle.
Assignment Guideline
Write a minimum three-page paper on two transformative (or critical) events in your life, plus a Cover Page and a Reference Page. You must link your essay to this course’s individual change section (Cameron & Green, Chapter 1) of this course. What happened? Please be concise and to the point. What caused you to change? What were the difficulties or challenges? Why? What were the resulting changes? Important Must be in APA 7 format with the correct use of APA in-text citations for paraphrased ideas and quoted text. You are not to use any external sources. Please only use Cameron and Green (2020) as your reference. Marks will be deducted if other references are used. This assignment is about your individual (personal) change journey, not authentic leadership. There should be at least one citation per page for this assignment.
