Instructions: This assignment is designed to assess and critique current policy based on scientific research findings.

1. Identify a policy (e.g., education, health, public, social) that impacts adolescents and/or emerging adults. This policy can be at the city (e.g., local community, neighborhood, school), county, state, or federal level.
2. Identify two scientific/scholarly articles (published within the last 10 years) that are related to the policy topic*.

*The scholarly articles need to be related to the topic of your paper, but they SHOULD NOT explicitly reference (mention) the actual policy you have chosen.

3. Write an evaluation of how the public policy is in line with scientific research. This will include:

5. A summary of each scholarly article (focused on the main findings and implications)
6. A comprehensive critique of how well the policy utilizes the findings and recommendations of scientific/scholarly research in real-world application.

Formatting: Your paper should be between 4-5 pages, double-spaced, with 1” margins and 11 or 12-pt. Arial of Times New Roman font.
