Need help with my Science question – I’m studying for my class.

The fossil and genomic record tell us that our species originated in Africa around 200,000 years ago (These numbers might now go back further).  The first 100,000 years were spent in Africa and soon after our species began to expand into different world regions.

What you are doing

Your task will be to explore the complex fossil and genetic history of modern humans as they left Africa for the first time.

For this webquest you will only be able to choose one of the following world regions:

The Americas (you will be including both North and South)

Europe

All the above world regions have complicated population histories that are the result of a number of populations that have come together to form the present population. What insight do genomic studies of ancient fossils and modern populations give us in reference to the number of founding populations that form your chosen world region?

All of the assigned world regions are composed of multiple Homo sapiens populations that arrived at different times to the current world region that you are exploring.  What do genomic studies of ancient fossils and modern populations give us in reference to the number of founding populations of your chosen world region and what does the data say about when the different populations arrived?

Budgeting and Donors Contributions Paper

As discussed in Week 1, for the final project, you will compare the budgets of two municipalities (cities) or nonprofit agencies. Therefore, you must obtain copies of the budgets for the cities or agencies, which are generally available online. The purpose of this project will be to see how funds are distributed among the various departmental agencies within the cities or nonprofit agencies in order to determine the priorities.

This week, you will take the next step in developing your final project. You should continue your research and begin writing about the information (demographic and policy) available in the budgets and in the literature. Also, create any budget tables, graphs, or charts to visually show the information you find important to accompany your written text.[Order Now]

You should conduct background research on the selected entities by securing the budgets and beginning the literature review. You will be able to view links of different reports in order to get a better idea of how your final report should look. The link to the entity’s budget analysis should serve as a model for the report you are creating for the final project. List the Web sites or periodicals you will be using. You will compare the budgets of two municipalities (cities) or nonprofit agencies. Therefore, you must obtain copies of the budgets for the cities or agencies, which are generally available online. For this week, create a 5- to 6 page paper of content to include the following:

The background research of the entities and reporting on their budgets, comparing the two selected entities (city or non-profit).

Summary of the information you collected that will be integrated into the analysis section of the final report in Week 5 using APA style.
