For your final analysis you will complete two interrelated tasks:
Task 1: Interview between 8 and 10 people about your topic and choose about 5 open-ended questions that apply to your topic. You may do this in a survey or questionnaire format, asking participants to answer your questions via e-mail, in person, etc. It should not take long to retrieve responses and be sure to design your questions around any major issues/differences you noticed within your first two papers. If you need help constructing questions about your topic, please see me.
Task 2: Address the following questions for a concluding paper:
How does the general public (meaning your participants) understand your topic of interest? How does their understanding relate to both the media and scholarly literature you examined? What are the similarities and differences both among the participants interviewed and between the sources you collected in your previous two papers?
As a critical and creative thinker, how might you solve any issues that might have been addressed in your topic of interest? In other words, how might you attempt to reach out to the general public and attempt to draw them into understanding the need for your solution(s)?
Final Analysis Requirements:
-Be sure to use pseudonyms when referring to or quoting persons surveyed or interviewed.
–You must write your paper in APA format and attach all respondents completed surveys, interview materials, etc. to your final analysis (these will take the place of your reference page).
–This paper should be a full 5 pages in length. (Not including title page, abstract or surveys) and your papers need to be double-spaced, aligned left, typed in a 12pt. font (such as Times New Roman or Arial).
