When I reviewed this week’s timesheets, I saw that way too many people worked overtime. This is costing our company too much money and needs to immediately stop. Going forward, before you work overtime, you must get approval from your supervisor.

Hello? again, here the respond, Hello Everyone! After reading the script, I would choose word choice. If I did not
know too much overtime or ways we could cut back, do not be blunt but
explain so I can understand your side of the situation. We do not know if this was the first or second time this has been
brought up, so I will assume it is the first. It does not say who the
Supervisor is at the bottoms but just Supervisor. It states “NOW” at the
top. The word ” Hey” also addresses everyone, instead of Hello team or
something of the such. That is very inappropriate coming from a
supervisor figure, from what it feels like yelling to saying hey. Veryunprofessional and not very good with communicating. From that Supervisor’s point of view, I can look at it, but the message also gives me a mixed signal. I do not trust this Supervisor if they cannot even address a simple email appropriately.
Either the Supervisor is having a momentous lousy day or does not know how to address their team at all. Another thing that could be is communication is their weak area, and if that was the case, why were they titled, Supervisor.
